From 1993 to date Mr. Coe has been a member of the Coral Gables, Fl Planning & Zoning board. Prior to that, he was a member of the Coral Gables Historical Preservation board.

From 1988-1993, Mr. Coe was a Dade County Judge. (Acting Ciruit Court Judge)

Mr. Coe has been a member of the Coral Gables Kiwanis Club. (Key Club Chairman 1988-1992)
